Bramwell Oval Bat Mirror
The bat has carried symbolic weight across centuries of gothic art: a creature of thresholds, of dusk, of the space between the seen and the unseen. In the architecture of cathedrals and crypts it appeared as a guardian motif, watchful at the edges, and in gothic iconography it came to stand for intuition and the ability to navigate what others cannot.
