Bramwell Oval Bat Mirror
The bat has carried symbolic weight across centuries of gothic art: a creature of thresholds, of dusk, of the space between the seen and the unseen. In the architecture of cathedrals and crypts it appeared as a guardian motif, watchful at the edges, and in gothic iconography it came to stand for intuition and the ability to navigate what others cannot. Bramwell carries that lineage forward.
Bramwell sits as comfortably above a bureau or console as it does anchored within a gothic gallery wall, where its reflective surface introduces movement and lamplight to the arrangement without competing with the pieces around it.
