Fortitude & Thorn centres a sculptural goat amongst winding brambles, their thorned stems bearing fruit. Rich in symbolism, each element tells a story of resilience, perseverance and the rewards found beyond adversity.
The goat is a fearless climber, able to find its footing where others cannot. It has long embodied determination, independence and the courage to continue along difficult and untrodden paths. The surrounding brambles echo this sentiment: their thorns represent the hardships encountered along the way, while the fruit they bear symbolises what can flourish because of them - the reward that waits beyond the struggle.
Together, they embody fortitude: the strength of mind that allows us to face difficulty without surrendering to it.
Designed as an ornamental wall sculpture, Fortitude & Thorn has the presence of an old allegorical carving or architectural relic, created as a reminder that the hardest paths can bear the richest fruit.

United Kingdom
Every courier option available for your order is shown at checkout. The Highlands, Islands and some postcodes may take longer and can carry a small surcharge; we will write to you before dispatch if this applies. A guaranteed Special Delivery can be arranged on request.
European Union
Express services can be sent Duties Paid (DDP) at checkout, so there is nothing to pay on arrival. On all other services, EU import duties are collected on or after arrival. This cannot be changed once an order has been placed.
United States & Canada
Choose a Duties Paid (DDP) express service at checkout to settle import duties in advance; otherwise they are payable on arrival. Since 28 August 2025, parcels entering the USA may attract import duties.
Australia

Customs duties and import taxes may apply on arrival and are the recipient's responsibility, unless a Duties Paid express service is chosen at checkout.
How shipping is costed
Shipping is calculated at checkout from the size, weight, destination and value of your order, against live courier rates. The options open to your order are shown before you pay.
Returns
Unused items in their original packaging may be returned within 28 days of delivery. Return postage is paid by you, and we ask that parcels are sent tracked. A refund follows once the piece is received back in resaleable condition.
To exchange a piece for something else, return it within 14 days of delivery.
Should an item arrive damaged, faulty or incorrect, tell us within 14 days and send photographs of the damaged product amd packaging. We will repair, replace or refund within 30 days and cover the cost of putting it right.
