Product Description
Cakes or cookies, known as ‘funeral biscuits’ were traditionally given out at the end of funerals to mourners. They would take these home in remembrance of the deceased or sent to those that were unable to attend the funeral.
The Blackened Teeth Artisans have created their twist on these astute Victorian macabre confections. The Mourners Biscuit is our new jar candle that makes sorrow – sweet.
Ok it isn’t edible (even though it does smell good enough to eat...)
Taking inspiration from these Victorian recipes we’ve made this candle the perfect blend of sweetly spiced ginger biscuits to uplift the darkened soul.
Join us in lighting this candle when we feel reminiscent or sorrowful; it’ll lift your spirits a treat.
FRAGRANCE NOTES:
A sweet warming blend of ginger spices with a full-blown lavish molasses and biscuit aroma. A scent reminiscent of Christmas Time - but it’s absolutely an all-year-around scent for us!
INGREDIENTS: Coconut Wax Blend, cotton wick, premium vegan friendly fragrance oil.
THE VESSEL: Our Bone Jar Lid (our signature) had to be brought into our new candle. A compelling visual reminder of what we’re made of.
Repurpose your jar after you’ve used your candle – our Bone Lidded Apothecary Amber jars will further adorn your gothic home after you've used all of your candle.
BURN TIME: 45 hours
Your candle will arrive with burning instructions; please follow these carefully in order to get the best results and a great life out of your candle.
The Bone Lids are made in two styles (using Femoral Head and Medial Condyle) which are added at random. Should you have any preference please state this in the Notes when checking-out.
