Mourners Biscuit Tin Candle

Cakes or cookies, known as ‘funeral biscuits’ were traditionally given out at the end of funerals to mourners. They would take these home in remembrance of the deceased or send to those that were unable to attend the funeral.

The Blackened Teeth Artisans have created their twist on these astute Victorian macabre confections. The Mourners Biscuit is our new jar candle that makes sorrow – sweet.

Ok it isn’t edible (even though it does smell good enough to eat...)

Taking inspiration from these Victorian recipes we’ve made this candle the perfect blend of sweetly spiced ginger biscuits to uplift the darkened soul.
