Symbolically rich and visually bold, Deathborne Ravens explores themes of mortality, destiny, and the relentless passage of time. The ravens, long associated with death and the beyond, rest upon the very measure of existence itself... time.
Every element is intentional: the ravens, long considered harbingers of death and messengers between worlds, face each other across a lit candlestick - a flame that cannot last. They rest upon a sand timer, the classic emblem of time slipping away, grain by grain. Together, these symbols speak in quiet chorus of the impermanence of life, the inevitability of death, and the tension between the two.
The plaque’s deep matt black background sets a somber stage, allowing the high-gloss ravens and ornate border to emerge with striking contrast.
