The Inamorata is a love offering object - a sculptural table lamp formed in the shape of a sacred heart and adorned with elaborate baroque ornamentation. Finished in a matte black and hand-highlighted with aged old-gold gilding, the raised detailing catches the glow of the lamp as candlelight once caught the edges of church reliquaries, revealing its intricacy slowly rather than all at once.
The heart itself is not a simple symbol of romance, but of reverence. Inspired by antique devotional art and ecclesiastical carving, every curve, scroll, and flourish echoes the language of shrines and sanctuaries - a piece that feels less like décor and more like an heirloom recovered from a forgotten chapel.
Requires a bulb (UK E27 bulb 60 Watt Maximum / USA E26 bulb 60 Watt Maximum) Bulb not included. Lampshade has a black (semi transparent lining) with an a vintage cream braid.
